Beginning January 20, 2007, Bethany will offer a worship services on Saturday evenings. Word and Table is an ancient, future worship service designed to place the ancient traditions of the church in a contemporary setting. Worshipers are drawn to God through
a multi-sensory worship service enacted by a community of people of all ages and at varying points in their spiritual journey.

Word and Table services will incorporate prayer, praise, thanksgiving, offering, confession and proclamation to enact the story of God using all of the senses. Not only will we hear the Word of God proclaimed, we will also see it come alive through dialogue and visual representation. We will learn about the grace of God and what it means to be the body of Christ, and we will make that learning a reality each week as we celebrate Holy Communion. We will sing God’s praise in a variety of ways using lots of voices and many different instruments.
