Schedule of Operation
Kids Care is open Monday through Friday, from 2:30 to 6 p.m., on days when school is in session in Dorchester District II. Kids Care is open on teacher work days and holidays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Kids Care is closed on the following days: Labor Day, November 22-23 (Thanksgiving Holiday), December 24-26 and December 31-January 1 (Christmas Holidays), Good Friday, and Memorial Day. Kids Care Summer Program is open all summer from
7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Enrichment Activities and Spiritual Development
During the Kids Care Program, children learn about God’s love through music, stories, prayer and other activities, and are nurtured by a caring staff. Crafts, art, music, games and story time are offered daily to provide opportunities for creativity and learning. Field trips are offered during the summer, teacher work days and holidays.

Snacks
A nutritious snack is offered at the beginning of each afternoon session as the children gather for assembly.

Free Play
Supervised free play extends the physical and social skills developed during organized play and games.

Tuition
Tuition varies according to need.
After school care tuition is as follows: 5 days a week is $180 a month, 4 days a week is $160 a month
and 3 days a week is $140 a month. Payment is required each week to reserve your child’s position in the program. There is a $50 registration fee.
The tuition cost for early release days is $6 per child per day.
The tuition cost for teacher work days and holidays is $25 per child per day.
The tuition for the summer program is as follows: 5 days a week is $100 a week, 4 days a week is $90 a week and 3 days a week is $80 a week. Summer tuition is paid monthly and based on a weekly rate.
Limited scholarship help is available for children who would benefit from this ministry, but whose families are unable to afford it. Contact the Kids Care Director for information about scholarship assistance.
